Graduating with a B.E. in Civil Engineering from NMAMIT Nitte, Karnataka, and a postgraduate degree in M.Tech Structural Engineering from the renowned Regional Engineering College (now N.I.T) Calicut, Mr. Biju C. Thomas is a versatile expert in the field.

In his pursuit of knowledge, Mr. Biju C. Thomas expanded his expertise by completing a P.G. Diploma in Traditional Architecture from Aranmula Vasthuvidhya Gurukulam. As a testament to his commitment to continuous learning, he completed LLB, further broadening his understanding of legal aspects related to his profession. He is also recognized as a Fellow Member of the Institution of Valuers (FIV), highlighting his dedication to maintaining the highest professional standards.

Professional Journey

Mr. Biju C. Thomas commenced his professional journey in 1995 as an Assistant Consulting Engineer at Prime Builders and Architects, a renowned architectural firm in Chengannur, Kerala. Here, he played a pivotal role in the architectural and interior design of residential and commercial buildings, gaining valuable experience in the industry.

From 1996 to 1998, Mr. Thomas served as the Site Engineer in charge of the construction of the multi-crore Parumala Church project in Kerala. This project involved the construction of a concrete vaulted roof designed by the acclaimed architect A.R. Charles Correa from Bombay.

Over the years, Mr. Thomas’s journey included roles such as Consultant Structural Engineer and Project Associate at Prime Builders and Architects, and a significant tenure at the Structural Engineering Department of the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.

Since 2001, Mr. Biju C. Thomas has been serving as an Architectural and Structural Consultant at Prime Builders and Architects, where he oversees the structural, architectural, and interior designing of diverse projects, including residential and commercial buildings, churches, tall towers, and more.

Analysis and Design verification of India's first Nuclear Power Reactor for the Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR), Kalpakkam, Tamil Nadu.
Designing of Pre-stressed Girder Bridges for various projects, including Goshree Island projects for Cochin Port Trust, Ernakulam, Kerala, and Cochin Shipyard, Kerala, India.

First licensed Engineer to start a consultancy service in our area. He has a vast experience working with Indian Railways as Inspector of Works, which he resigned for better prospectus and joined Aramco, a Multi National Construction Company at Saudi Arabia engaging himself in various fields of construction works like roads, bridges, coastal walls etc. He then extended his service to the construction field of Chengannur and nearby areas. He mainly concentrates in the construction of residential buildings and flats.

After completing her Diploma in Civil Engineering from Kollam, she joined as Apprentice Trainee in Public Works Department, Minor Irrigation, Government of Kerala, India. After an year she joined V- Institute, Kollam as Instructor. After that she became a permanent staff with Public Works Department, Government of Kerala, India, resigned after few years and then joined National Institute of Training Centre ( N.I.T.C), Chengannur as Group Instructor and Vice Principal for eleven years. After that she is actively involved in the day to day affairs of Prime Builders & Architects.
